CO₂ and foam systems maintenance is verified by functional safety-chain checks plus evidence (records, calibration, samples) per MSC.1/Circ.1318 and MSC.1/Circ.1432.
We confirm system configuration vs Fire Control Plan and then test alarms, lockouts and release controls without risking an accidental discharge.
Why it matters: it prevents PSC findings, off-hire delays and rework at class survey.
We execute within port-call windows and issue same-day class-ready documentation (PMS-ready pack).
Baltic ports typical: Klaipėda and other Baltic ports (Riga, Tallinn, Gdańsk/Gdynia).
This CO₂ and foam systems maintenance routine is designed for class/flag acceptance and PSC checks.
CO₂ (maintenance & verification):
- Release cabinet, time delay, audible/visual alarms, shutdowns (ventilation/dampers/ESD where fitted).
- Cylinder inventory (serials, tare/gross, weight/pressure checks), hoses/manifold condition, leak signs.
- Distribution valves and pilot lines checked for correct operation and tagging.
- Hydrotest planning and certification traceability in the evidence pack.
Foam (maintenance & verification):
- Foam concentrate sampling + lab analysis vs maker spec.
- Proportioner ratio/function verification (type-specific) + strainers/valves checks.
- System readiness: foam main, monitors/nozzles, isolation valves; flow/pressure checks where applicable.

MSC.1/Circ.1318; MSC.1/Circ.1432. Verify with Class/Flag where applicable.
