• Winch: controls, gearbox, brake holding, emergency stop.
• Falls/wire & sheaves: condition, reeving, lubrication, alignment.
• Release gear: on-load/off-load test + documented reset/lock-back per maker.

Five-year additions (when applicable):

• Selective dismantling + measurements + NDT (if required).
• 110% SWL proof-load with certified water bags/load cells + witness note.

 

Action:

Send ETA/ETD, port, davit make/model, last LSA certs, scope, gate contact/permits. We align class/flag witnessing if needed.
